사랑을 삶으로 증명하라"… 화성 중송교회, 성령으로 행하는 예배와 사랑의 공동체 실천

경기도 화성시 송산면 송산포도로 404에 위치한 기독교대한감리회 중송교회(담임목사 최형규)가 '사랑을 삶으로 증명하는 교회'라는 사명을 중심으로 하나님 사랑과 가정 사랑, 이웃 사랑을 실천하며 성령 안에서 하나 되는 공동체를 세워가고 있다. 말씀과 예배, 기도 위에 세워진 신앙을 삶으로 연결하는 중송교회의 사역은 지역사회에 따뜻한 희망과 감동을 전하며 건강한 교회 공동체의 본보기가 되고 있다.

중송교회는 단순히 예배를 드리는 공간에 머물지 않는다. 예배를 통해 받은 은혜가 가정과 직장, 학교와 지역사회로 이어져 삶 전체가 하나님께 드려지는 예배가 되어야 한다는 믿음 아래 사역을 이어가고 있다. 

교회의 핵심 비전인 '예배를 삶으로'​는 주일 한 번의 신앙생활이 아닌 매일의 삶 속에서 복음을 실천하는 참된 제자의 삶을 의미한다.

교회가 제시하는 다섯 가지 핵심 가치는 오늘의 사역 방향을 분명하게 보여준다.

 첫째, 사랑이신 하나님을 온전히 예배하는 교회이다. 

둘째, 십자가의 사랑을 완성하신 예수 그리스도의 제자가 되는 교회이다. 

셋째, 약속하신 성령의 인도하심을 따라 살아가는 교회이다. 

넷째, 온전한 예배 공동체와 사랑의 공동체를 이루는 교회이다. 

다섯째, 사랑을 말이 아닌 삶으로 증명하는 교회이다.

최형규 담임목사는 "예수님께서는 하나님 사랑과 이웃 사랑이 모든 율법과 선지자의 강령이라고 말씀하셨다"며 

"교회는 이 말씀을 배우는 곳에 그치는 것이 아니라 삶으로 실천하는 공동체가 되어야 한다. 

예배는 교회 안에서 끝나는 것이 아니라 우리의 가정과 일터, 

지역사회로 이어질 때 하나님께서 기뻐하시는 참된 예배가 된다"고 강조했다.

중송교회는 하나님 사랑을 예배로 고백하고, 가정에서는 사랑과 용서, 

화해를 통해 건강한 믿음의 가정을 세워가며, 지역사회에서는 

섬김과 나눔을 통해 그리스도의 사랑을 전하는 다양한 사역을 이어가고 있다. 

성도들은 이웃을 향한 봉사와 돌봄, 나눔 실천을 통해 복음을 삶으로 증거하며 

지역사회와 함께 성장하는 교회를 만들어 가고 있다.

또한 말씀과 기도 중심의 신앙훈련을 지속적으로 운영하여 성도들이 성령의 인도하심 가운데 예수 그리스도의 제자로 살아가도록 돕고 있다. 

믿음과 삶이 하나 되는 제자훈련을 통해 가정과 직장, 

사회 속에서 정직과 사랑, 섬김을 실천하며 복음의 향기를 전하는 성숙한 그리스도인을 세우는 데 힘쓰고 있다.

오늘날 교회의 사회적 책임과 공공성이 더욱 중요해지는 시대 속에서 중송교회는 사랑을 행동으로 실천하는 교회의 모습을 보여주고 있다. 

교회는 예배와 말씀, 성령의 역사 위에 사랑과 섬김을 더하며 지역사회와 함께 호흡하는 공동체를 지향하고 있으며, 하나님께 영광을 돌리고 이웃에게 희망을 전하는 사명을 계속 감당해 나갈 계획이다.

'사랑을 삶으로 증명하는 교회'라는 비전을 품고 걸어가는 중송교회의 발걸음은 한국교회를 넘어 세계교회에도 건강한 신앙 공동체의 모델을 제시하고 있다.

"Prove Love Through Life" – Jungsong Methodist Church in Hwaseong Builds a Spirit-Led Community of Worship and Love
